MY COMPUTER WON'T TURN ON!

This is the worst! I need get my work/studies/game on done and my computer just won't power on/turn on/boot up. I've tried a few basic checks like pressing the on switch, checking the outlet and even pressing the reset button, but nothing is working! Perhaps there's something wrong with the hard drive?
